- Minimize production interruptions through troubleshooting and production equipment maintenance and rebuilds in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and using safe operating procedures.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and auxiliary equipment.
- Respond to mechanical breakdowns and ensure proper functioning on completion.
- Diagnosing situational and ongoing problems; assess and repair breakdowns.
- Fabricate parts using machine shop equipment.
- To improve efficiency and safety, use parts and techniques to modify equipment operation and guarding.
- Machine installation or moves as required including set-up and pre-start.
- Certificate of qualification – Millwright.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Industrial environment.
- Certification in machine shop equipment (ie: lathe, milling, welder).
- Excellent knowledge of machines and their capacity.
- Flexibility, adaptable team player with excellent organizational, time management and planning skills.
- Strong communication (written and verbal), computer skills.
- Priority driven, self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Flexible and able to work shifts, varied or steady schedules.

Maintenance Mechanic – Millwright
