- Perform timely repair and preventative maintenance on plant equipment including filling machines, metal detectors, case erectors, packers, sealers, pasteurizers, motors, pumps, and conveying equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
- Identify and correct problems in electrical/control systems (sensors, limit switches, solenoids, motors, Servos, PLC programming, PID loops, etc.) and mechanical systems (pumps, vacuum pumps, belt drives, gear reduction drives, piping, valve diagnosis and replacement, air handling systems, material delivery systems, etc.).
- Implement safety and continuous improvement measures, equipment calibrations, and reliability opportunities.
- Perform preventative maintenance on motors, motor control devices, pumps, conveyor systems, instrumentation, and all production equipment.
- Use precision measuring and mechanical and electrical testing instruments to identify problems.
- Inform operation workers of routine preventative maintenance and operation techniques, monitoring compliance and reporting to supervisors as necessary.
- Provide training and assistance to Operations and other support groups as an expert resource.
- Fabricate repair parts or additions for processes as necessary.
- 1-3 years of related experience in manufacturing production equipment.
- Associates degree, Technical School Certificate, or Military training in electrical/electronics systems, industrial controls, or manufacturing/mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical/electrical breakdowns.
- Ability to use hand tools with knowledge of safety procedures.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.
- Mechanical proficiency, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
- Completion of an Industrial Maintenance vocational or technical school program.
- Experience with Wastewater Treatment equipment.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting (480 voltage) and PLC Allen Bradley.
- Automation experience with sensors and motors.
- Previous food manufacturing experience in fast-paced environments.
- Strong mechanical experience in Techma or Tetrapak machinery.
- Fabrication experience with sanitary clean welds.
- Experience with 'R Seals' and injection molding machinery maintenance.
- Licensed Industrial Electricians and 6 Sigma certification highly desired.
- Reliability laser alignments and Ladder Logic.
- Strong soft skills as a 'Culture Enhancer'.

Our fast-paced environment requires skilled individuals with experience in TetraPak, Sidel, and Blow Molding equipment, commonly used in high-speed food production. We are expanding our maintenance team with senior-level technicians to support our yogurt production facility in Twin Falls.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, fast-paced food production facility with different areas dedicated to various product lines. Utilize automated machinery and packaging equipment. Benefit from a rotating weekly schedule with 3- and 4-day, 12-hour shifts starting at 7AM or 7PM, with opportunities to move to day shifts based on seniority.

This is a Permanent position based out of Twin Falls, Idaho.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.
$35.00-$45.00 per hour with Quarterly Bonus incentives
