      Job Overview

      TE Connectivity is looking for an experienced Electrical & Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Plating Team. The right candidate will have solid electrical skills and be able to diagnose and repair electrical issues with machinery, including knowledge of PLCs and ladder logic. You should be confident working independently, handling advanced troubleshooting, and providing technical support when needed. Ideally, you’ll have hands-on experience in electrical repair, motor controls, and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing setting. We’re also looking for someone who can train and mentor less experienced team members while making sure safety standards are always followed.

      As an Electrical & Industrial Maintenance Technician you are responsible for the following tasks below:

      • Diagnoses and repairs advanced mechanical and/or electrical breakdowns of machinery without any supervision.
      • Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge of PLC operation including ladder logic.
      • Provides complex technical support for maintenance and engineering.
      • Documents and reports summaries of work performed to management with a continuous improvement mindset
      • Sets the example by following all safety guidelines in working on machinery or in facilities (ex. Lock out/tag out).
      • Follows 5s standards concerning housekeeping of work area
      • Leads maintenance and improvement projects as needed.
      • Performs and trains others in preventive maintenance with a TPM principles mindset.
      • Intermediate to Advanced Computer skills with ability to train others.
      • Building maintenance as needed
      • Responsible for training and mentoring Mechanic 4's and apprentices
      • Ability to work with OEM technicians to resolve complex issues with equipment.
      • Resident experts on specific equipment in lieu of value stream

      Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area and following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

      Monday to Friday 1st shift 7 am to 3 pm.

      Your background must include one of the following 3 options

      • Option 1: AAS in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical or Industrial Technology plus 5+ years’ experience in electronics or mechanical field
      • Option 2: 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing in Industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical repair, motor controls in plant environment
      • Option 3: Certified Journeyman/Apprenticeship program completion with 5+ years' experience in electronics or mechanical field

      COMPENSATION
      • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $78,400 – $117,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
      • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
      • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
