      Description

      Job Summary

      Provides mentor support for mechanics, new maintenance personnel during onboarding, and high school interns. Provides preventative maintenance training (individually and/or in small groups) to current or lesser job classifications.


      Minimum Qualifications
      *Only maintenance employees in the MOW-Systems Business Unit are eligible to apply*

      EXPERIENCE:

      • Currently classified as a Line & Signal Technician or Line & Signal A Level Technician
      • Obtain a recommendation from both Supervisor and Manager
      • One year consecutive experience as Line & Signal Technician or Line & Signal A Level Technician or equivalent position
      • Meet current Training Standards Review
      • Score at least 70% during the panel and presentation interviews
      ABILITY TO:
      • Communicate well with managers, supervisors, and others
      • Complete coaching and feedback online training within 90 days from selection

      This job requires regular and predictable attendance.

      An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

      Pay Rate: Applicants’ current rate of pay plus an additional $2.00 per hour when training
