      Your typical day will be fast paced working in collaboration with cross functional teams and outside suppliers to achieve organizational success through the work we carry out in our support of Marvin’s processes and infrastructure. You will be actively coordinating our preventative maintenance program to reduce emergency repair costs and reduce downtime. You will provide valuable input for day-to-day decisions regarding equipment repair, preventative and predictive maintenance.

      Highlights of your role

      • Review current preventative maintenance procedures, analyze effectiveness and make revisions as needed based on data and observations.
      • Work closely with the Reliability Technologist, Repair Planner and maintenance staff to research improved components and processes to drive improvements.
      • Conduct PM audits to ensure alignment to the required procedures and quality of workmanship.
      • Release preventative work orders to align with schedules for the staff to complete.
      • Work closely with the maintenance team and outside suppliers to coordinate contracted regulatory and preventative maintenance activities.
      • Responsible for setting up new assets in the maintenance management system based on information provided by engineering and research.
      • Create preventative maintenance procedures, schedules.
      • Review and request removal of obsolete stock parts/inventories as equipment is eliminated.
      • Work closely with Repair and Project Planners as well as maintenance staff in support of their daily tasks as needed to help maintenance meet the needs of operations.
      • Aide in the training of the maintenance staff. Help to identify training gaps and work with management to build up their abilities.
      • Monitor OSHA and Regulatory PM’s the ensure compliance on time completion.
      • Preform PM work orders as requested.
      • Other duties as requested by leadership.

      You’re a good fit if you have (or if you can)

      • Strong mechanical aptitude and skills
      • The ability to read schematics and manuals to diagnose equipment needs and issues
      • The ability to work well independently with a focus to get things done right
      • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to understand facility systems and production equipment
      • Need to have a can-do attitude to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
      • Communication and collaboration skills, ability to work cross-functionally

      We also want to make sure you have:

      • 2-year technical degree or 5 years of preventative maintenance experience a plus
