Maintenance Specialist I – 2nd Shift

· Work hours: rotating schedule with Clearfork coverage as needed and on-call rotation.

Here’s What You Need:
· H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required
· 3 Years’ experience in a commercial or industrial environment required.
· 1 Year experience in a healthcare environment highly preferred.
· Has knowledge with chilled water systems, pneumatic tube stations, computerized maintenance systems, HVAC, and general plumbing.
· Knowledge with fire alarms, life safety systems and inspections of fire alarm devices.
· Knowledge of emergency generators and related equipment.
Licenses and Certifications:
· DL - Driver’s License Upon Hire required
· Other Healthcare maintenance certification Upon Hire preferred
Skills:
· Proficient in the use of computerized systems for all aspects of job performance.
· Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.
· Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
· Ability to work effectively unsupervised and in teams.
· Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.
What You Will Do:
· Provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support for hospital, hospital equipment, and hospital properties utilizing the computerized maintenance management system.
· Performs the duties of skill trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, general maintenance, mechanical, HVAC, and exterior maintenance as required.
· Provide technical support and general guidance to facility staff in the repair and operation of facility equipment, components, utilities, and the like.
· Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, education opportunities, and related training.
