Basic Job Functions:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for Taking Care of Our Customers by working as a division leader at Nucor Steel Texas. The Maintenance Supervisor is expected to work collaboratively with other departments and other Nucor Steel divisions to achieve the desired results in safety, quality, plant reliability, costs, productivity, and profitability. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading a team to ensure consistent process & equipment reliability. The successful candidate must demonstrate the values that makeup the Nucor Culture. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
