Job Description

- Supervise the Union Maintenance Team with daily maintenance, planned and emergency repair of plant equipment.
- Relocating machinery and equipment per Process Change Request (PCR).
- Dismantling and removing obsolete or worn-out equipment per Process Change Request (PCR).
- Utilize eMaintenance software to set up equipment Preventative Maintenance based upon the manufacturer’s recommendations, historical events, and personal knowledge.
- Track and purchase Spare Parts.
- Schedule needed overtime to complete maintenance and completion of projects on time.
- Priorities maintenance activity to minimize impact to Production.
- Track and approve vacations for Maintenance Team members.
- Ensure Maintenance Tech’s complete yearly Safety Training per Company Policy.
- Attend weekly Engineering Team and Weekend Work meetings.
- Conduct daily Shift Handoff meetings.
- Handle all job-related problems honestly and fairly without violation of Company Policies or Procedures.
- Perform 30, 60 & 90 reviews for new team members.
- Complete team member Time Card entries in ADP.
- Performs other duties deemed necessary by the Engineering Manager.
- Has the authority to stop the production process if a quality or safety concern is noticed.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Must be mechanically and electrically strong.
- Working knowledge with Maintenance Software.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical prints.
- Must be capable of communication in oral and written form.
- Must possess the ability to supervise and motivate employees in a team environment.
- Familiar with PLC (Programmable Logic Controls) is a plus.
- Openings available to work on 2nd shift (Mon - Fri, 2:00pm - 11:30pm)
