Job Description

- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained.
- Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains.
- Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems & equipment as needed.
- Landscaping: prune and cut-back trees and bushes; light fence repair.
- Carpentry: drywall, paint, patch, repair, roof patch and light repair.
- Light electrical: change out light bulbs, light fixtures, light sockets, and photocell light sensors.
- Janitorial: take out trash and general cleaning.
- Conduct pool water testing. Willingness to obtain CPO, company paid.
- Other projects as requested.
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- 3+ years of residential maintenance or handyman experience.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken), follow-up, and follow-through skills.
- Customer focused, Service driven, and Team oriented.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and takes initiative.
- Active and valid driver's license is required.

The Dartmouth Group is hiring a full time Maintenance Technician for is community in Bourne, MA.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance duties of Associations involving mostly exterior landscaping, porter and janitorial, carpentry, painting, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs and minor roofing repairs in addition to other exterior responsibilities to guarantee that the communities we manage are properly and safely maintained.
