- 2-year Engineering/Technology degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of successful experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Work well in a team environment as well as working independently when required with minimal supervision
- Capable of leading all maintenance-related projects including facility upgrades, equipment installation, upgrades, and repairs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to equipment downtime with a sense of urgency
- Observant, attentive to detail, quality, and safety concerns
- Above average math, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and written technical instructions
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Ability to diagnose and repair facilities and production equipment
- Substantial ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical controls including PLC’s
- Experienced with upgrading and repairing facilities including plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and plant electrical wiring.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical controls including PLC's
- Experienced as a fork truck operator and basic rigging.
- Work with general industrial maintenance fluids such as hydraulic oils, solvents, petroleum’s
- Willing to assist with blood borne pathogen clean ups
- Competent with facility issues including plumbing, HVAC, lighting and electrical
- Ability to lift 40lbs.
- Preventative maintenance (PM) and general maintenance on all manufacturing equipment
- Manage the PM system, includes entering new equipment into the system, creating PM tasks and frequency, performing the PM, and closing out the work order while maintaining on time performance
- Work closely with Operations in determining feasibility of projects, providing input for costing on proposed changes and carrying out the work as detailed by operations
- Act as liaison with vendors and contractors to coordinate materials, upgrades, installations of or repair of equipment and facility systems
- Dynamically prioritize repairs and projects based on the needs of production
- Work with operations in detailing machine specifications for new equipment purchases
- Participate in problem-solving and customer complaint resolution efforts
- Inform Operations Leader/Supervisors of all equipment, process, material, blueprint, safety, and quality concerns
- Participate in 5S activities, including daily area cleanup and facility cleanup efforts
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and workplace practices
- Accept reassignment to other areas or departments as workload dictates
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machinery
- Perform welding for maintenance projects and repairs
- Lead plant safety to ensure compliance of equipment and facilities, follow all safety policies and procedures including utilizing proper safety equipment
- Other duties as assigned
PAY RANGE: $27.00 - $35.00/hr
Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:30, Friday 8:00-12:00 PM
NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS
CLIMATE-CONTROLLED ENVIROMENT
Objective: Maintain, upgrade, and repair equipment and facilities including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic plumbing systems. Also act as liaison for facilities contractors.
