- Maintenance on bag houses and vacuum systems.
- Inspect equipment for defects such as wear, misalignment, and insufficient lubrication.
- Determine the best way to make repairs to minimize production interruption.
- Advise when immediate equipment shutdown is necessary to prevent damage.
- Dismantle, clean, repair, replace, install, maintain, assemble, and lubricate mechanical equipment.
- Erect scaffold, hoists, and chain falls as required.
- Assemble and align gears, bearings, and shafts involving piping, valves, and fittings.
- Operate simple machine tools such as drill press, pipe threading machine, and power saw.
- Troubleshoot issues with timers, relays, motor starters, and other electrical components.
- Adjust equipment, dampers, and valves for proper operating characteristics.
- Change, set up, and adjust a wide variety of equipment.
- Maintain records of adjustments, repairs, and spare parts used.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Knowledge and experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in maintenance repair, maintenance electrical, and maintenance mechanics.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
- Experience in maintenance production and troubleshooting.
- Technical Degree is a plus.
- Previous experience in a zinc manufacturing environment is a plus.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment to ensure minimal interruption of production. You will advise on necessary equipment shutdowns, perform both temporary and permanent repairs, and maintain detailed records of adjustments and repairs.
Pay: up to $33hr
Shift: 7pm-7am (3-3-3 Schedule)
Location: Clarksville, TN

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
