Job Description
- Req#: 5349
- Read and interpret owner’s manuals, maintenance manuals, blueprints, (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical), for troubleshooting and repairing production equipment and facilities.
- Install and debug electrical and fuel systems.
- Wire panel and terminations to equipment from schematics and/or blueprints in compliance to NEC code.
- Participate in all requested job-related training.
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on production and facilities equipment.
- Maintain database of schedule preventative maintenance as well as records of completion.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of machines.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- 3+ years of previous maintenance experience
- The ability to perform electrical tasks in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Have, or the ability to obtain, a Vanderburgh County electrical license.
- Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- The ability to work independently.
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude to complete the skill.
- The ability to program, troubleshoot and/or repair programmable logic computers (PLC).
- Ability to use Microsoft Office suite.
- Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, or balance.
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms
- Climb using ladders and work at heights.
- Lift up to 70 pounds unassisted
