- Install and troubleshoot equipment using a multimeter.
- Conduct mechanical troubleshooting on gears, conveyors, baggers, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Handle machinery such as baggers, mixers, slicers, and ovens.
- Fabricate and weld stainless steel racks, stands, and guards.
- Lubricate gears, bearings, shafts, and other machinery parts.
- Utilize experience with gauges, valves, and pressure regulators.
- Apply HVAC and plumbing skills for maintenance tasks.
- Electrical troubleshooting and PLC knowledge.
- Mechanical expertise in hydraulics and pneumatics.
- HVAC and plumbing background.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry.
- Experience in the food industry is a plus.

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to lead our department in managing all equipment and facilities maintenance responsibilities. This role involves electrical wiring, PLC edits, equipment installation, and troubleshooting using a multimeter. You will also engage in mechanical troubleshooting for gears, conveyors, baggers, pneumatics, and hydraulics on machinery such as baggers, mixers, slicers, and ovens. Welding experience is required for fabricating stainless steel racks, stands, guards, and other equipment for the facility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
