Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will begin your journey as a Tech 2, managing an equal workload of preventive maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance (RM). You will receive training on the first shift until you demonstrate proficiency in PM tasks with minimal supervision. Your daily tasks will include mechanical troubleshooting, filter changes, and working with hydraulics, flow meters, and pressure sensors.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on various equipment.
• Change filters and perform basic repairs on hydraulics and pressure sensors.
• Work with flow meters and pressure sensors.
• Collaborate with other technicians on maintenance tasks.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical maintenance with 2+ years of experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues under supervision.
• Experience with machine repair and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Electrical troubleshooting and familiarity with PLC control and schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of 3-phase 480v systems for simplified training.
• Experience in electrical maintenance is advantageous.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean and climate-controlled environment. The second shift consists of four full-time technicians and one part-time technician, ensuring a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Work shifts include 1st shift from 7:30 am to 4 pm, and 2nd shift from 3:30 pm to midnight, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grove City, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.77/hr.
