      Job Title: Maintenance Technician

      Job Description

      We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure the upkeep of buildings, equipment, and grounds, as well as service electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems essential to production. This role requires a proactive approach to facility maintenance and a readiness to address emergency maintenance needs.

      Responsibilities

      • Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical systems used in manufacturing processes.
      • Maintain and service welding equipment, jigs, and fixtures.
      • Install, repair, or replace building components such as doors, windows, and locks.
      • Handle general facility upkeep, including tasks like salting sidewalks and patching drywall.
      • Conduct repairs on robotic systems and their control units.
      • Adhere to OSHA safety standards and ensure a safe working environment.
      • Carry out scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and infrastructure.
      • Maintain and service equipment such as presses, punches, HVAC systems, overhead doors, fire extinguishers, and cranes.
      • Perform regular walkthroughs to assess the condition of the facility and grounds.
      • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance tasks.
      • Respond to emergency maintenance needs on an on-call basis, although this is an extremely rare circumstance.

      Essential Skills

      • High school diploma or GED.
      • Formal training in maintenance or electrical systems, or a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
      • Experience with hydraulic systems.
      • Strong experience in electromechanical repair and troubleshooting.
      • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with PLCs, electrical systems, and machinery.
      • Familiarity with safety and operational standards including 5S, OSHA, Lockout/Tagout, HAZMAT, forklift safety, overhead crane operation, and quality systems.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Certifications in electrical, robotics, or maintenance fields are a plus.

      Work Environment

      The work environment operates from Monday to Friday, 7AM to 3:30PM.

      Job Type & Location

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
