      Job Title: Maintenance Technician

      Job Description

      Join our team as a Maintenance Technician in a cutting-edge Plastics and Medical Device manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for daily work tasks, maintenance routines, repairs, and calibrations to prolong the useful life and optimize the efficiency of production equipment. This role includes maintenance and repairs, equipment calibration, and robotic troubleshooting, with a focus on electrical and mechanical preventive maintenance of presses for plastic injection.

      Responsibilities

      • Conduct daily maintenance tasks and routines to ensure optimal equipment performance.
      • Perform repairs and calibrations on production equipment to extend its useful life.
      • Troubleshoot and maintain robotic systems and injection presses.
      • Implement electrical and mechanical preventive maintenance on plastic injection presses.
      • Troubleshoot pneumatic systems and servo motors.

      Essential Skills

      • Proficiency in injection molding and blow molding techniques.
      • Experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing setting.
      • Ability to troubleshoot robotic systems (Yaskawa, Yushin, Whiteland).
      • Understanding of Allen Bradley PLC's and HMI's.
      • Electrical troubleshooting skills up to 480v.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience with pneumatic troubleshooting.
      • Knowledge of servo motor systems.
      • Robotic troubleshooting.

      Work Environment

      The work environment is climate-controlled within the Plastics and Medical Device Industry. Shifts include hair shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm with no differential, 2nd shift from 2:30pm to 11:00pm with a 7.5% differential, and 3rd shift from 10:30pm to 7:30am with a 10% differential. Training will occur on days for one month.
