      Job Title: Maintenance Technician

      Job Description

      As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for visually inspecting and testing machinery and equipment to ensure they are in operable condition. You will need to know the location of each machine and understand the correlation between safety, production needs, and machine outage. Your role includes detecting unusual sounds or vibrations from machines to identify malfunctions and discussing these with supervisors or operators to diagnose problems requiring repair.

      Responsibilities

      • Troubleshoot to board or component level and understand the interaction of all electric/electronic/mechanical systems in a machine.
      • Adjust equipment or dismantle defective machines and install new or repair parts.
      • Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electronic components of machinery.
      • Operate machines to ensure repairs are complete and accurate, and reinstall safety equipment/guards as necessary.
      • Perform preventive maintenance duties such as cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
