      Job Title: Maintenance Technician

      Job Description

      Join a fast-paced converting facility specializing in corrugated boxes. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of high-speed converting equipment, including Specialty Folders, Compression Tables, and Die Cutters. This position requires proactive troubleshooting skills and the ability to address issues swiftly, as downtime is not acceptable.

      Responsibilities

      • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues from screen to fault.
      • Maintain all equipment to minimize downtime.
      • Perform 80% reactive and 20% preventative maintenance.
      • Work with pneumatics, pumps, motors, ink systems, gear systems, drives, calibrations, rollers, conveyors, strappers, and changing belts.

      Essential Skills

      • Experience in the corrugated industry.
      • Electrical troubleshooting (480 volts).
      • Proficiency with motors and drives.
      • Understanding of gear systems and pulleys.
      • Knowledge of pneumatics.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience with controls troubleshooting (Siemens, Wiege, Mitsubishi).
      • PLC troubleshooting skills.
      • Mechanical and pump control knowledge.
      • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
      • Experience with preventive maintenance and calibration.

      Work Environment

      Embrace a flexible work schedule with 10-hour shifts running 24 hours a day, five days a week. Available shifts include 10pm-7am Monday-Friday and 7pm-5am Monday-Friday. Adaptability and resilience in a high-speed environment are key.

      This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.
