      Job Description
      As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, which provides support, preventive maintenance, and equipment repairs.
      Key Responsibilities:
      • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
      • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and perform necessary repairs.
      • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
      • Review assigned work orders and use available systems to track completion.
      • Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
      • Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
      • Use established procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
      • Deliver consistent output by following defined procedures under supervision.
      Daily Routine:
      • Check in with the lead technician.
      • Perform a variety of tasks including:
        • Painting
        • Basic electrical
        • Basic plumbing
        • General maintenance
      Work Environment:
      • Based at a hospital campus in Lakeway, TX.
      • Client/customer-facing role; appropriate dress required.
      • Candidate will start by working with a team, transitioning to more independent work.
      Qualifications:
      Minimum Requirements:
      • High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma.
      • 1–2 years of relevant experience.
      • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
      • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more.
      • Physically able to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders.
      • Strong communication and organizational skills.
      • Great people skills.
      • Excellent painting skills.
      Preferred (Nice to Have):
      • Plumbing skills.
      Background & Compliance:
      • Baylor Checks required.
      • Safety Specific requirements must be met.
      • Drug screening required.
