      Join our growing Maintenance Team as a full-time Maintenance Technician at Richman Property Services, Inc. in Austin, TX!

      Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Are you a community-inspired, passion-driven individual with a can-do attitude? If so, we want you on our team!

      Position: Maintenance Technician 1

      Location: Ivy Heights, our new multi-family residential community located in South Austin, TX 78744.

      Hours: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm, with on-call weekend rotation, 40 hours per week.

      Key Qualifications:

      • EPA I & II or EPA Universal. If you do not have your EPA, but posses the right skills and experience, RPS may sponsor (and pay) for your EPA I & II within your first 75-days on the job.
      • Valid Driver's License is required for this position
      • Minimum of 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience, new construction experience preferred
      • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required

      What we Offer:

      • Automatic quarterly (every 3 months) pay increases after initial 90-days of service

      Responsibilities:

      • Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
      • Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
      • Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
      • Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
      • Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
      • Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
      • Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
      • Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
      • Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
      • Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
      • Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime

      Requirements:

      • Education:
        1. High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
      • Experience:
        • Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
        • Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
        • Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
        • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
        • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
      • Skills & Certifications:
        • EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
        • Valid Driver's License required
        • Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
