Job Description
- Req#: 386300356
- Perform a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds at various facilities including, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and ground maintenance.
- Repair and treat structures such as floors, sinks, walls, roofs.
- Perform minor troubleshooting i.e.: repair and adjustment of doors, cabinets, locks, shelves, chairs.
- Change filters on AC/Heating units.
- Connect, install, and service appliances.
- Report mechanical malfunctions to appropriate party for repair.
- Move furniture and equipment at various facilities/sites.
- Assist in obtaining quotes and arranging for services of outside vendors.
- Update work logs for specific site requirements.
- Respond to alarm calls as assigned.
- Follow all Company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Troubleshooting ability.
- Knowledge of construction methods/tools and ability to do math and read blueprints.
- Working knowledge of repairing buildings/structures
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Clean and current DMV printout
- Currently possess or can obtain OSHA 10
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Effectively use a variety of hand and power tools
- Follow oral and/or written instructions: maintain work logs
- Ability to maintain a cooperative and effective working relationship with those contacted in the course of work assignments
- Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
