ResponsibilitiesFriends Hospital is the nation's oldest private psychiatric hospital, located on a beautiful 100-acre campus in Philadelphia, PA. Friends Hospital offers a continuum of care including level of care assessments; specially designed inpatient units for adolescents, adults, and older adults; and a private residential rehabilitation program. Friends Hospital is easily accessed via public transportation and has free, safe, on-site parking.

The Maintenance Technician installs, repairs and/or maintains mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, concrete, brick and block work, HVAC systems, plumbing system, sprinkler systems, refrigeration system, tile setting, pipe fitting, appliance repair, flooring and floor repair, repair of roads, sign installation and inspection of sprinkler system, smoke detectors, receptacle environmental rounds, emergency lighting, wiring, light bulbs, fire extinguisher and maintains and cares for 100 acres of hospital grounds.

QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Previous HVAC experience preferred.
