- Oversee day-to-day operations of the asphalt plant, ensuring consistent, high-quality output
- Monitor equipment performance and handle routine maintenance and minor repairs
- Coordinate order processing and support customer service interactions onsite
- Track and manage inventory, including fuel and other materials
- Identify and report safety concerns, hazards, or equipment issues immediately
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, with extended standing, lifting, and physical activity
- Support plant upkeep and follow all safety procedures and operational protocols
- Take on additional duties as assigned to keep operations smooth and productive
- At least 2 years of experience operating an asphalt or similar plant
- Strong mechanical skills, with ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Comfortable with physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders or catwalks
- Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer literacy and communication skills
- Must pass a physical and drug screening
- Welding or cutting experience
- Previous customer-facing experience in a production or industrial environment
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance systems
