- Conduct truck, trailer, and tire inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Conduct minor on-site repairs to a variety of trucks and trailers to include lights, wiring, and other mechanical & cosmetic issues
- Light fabrication and welding repairs
- Assist Building Maintenance as needed with projects and repairs
- Plowing snow
- Light Maintenance of passenger vehicles (spark plugs, brakes, oil changes)
- General Understanding of Electrical systems (fleet and building low voltage)
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services performed.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipment for employees and visitors
- Adhere to the CK Core Values through behavior and words
- Other duties, as assigned, within the job classification and business
- High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of trade school/trade program is preferred
- Proven experience as a truck mechanic or commercial vehicle technician.
- Strong knowledge of truck systems, including engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Proficient with diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; CDL class A is a plus
- Brake Training and certifications are a plus
- Work in noisy, loud conditions, that at times will require PPE.
- Work in all seasons of outdoor weather conditions
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
CK Supply is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of trucks and building systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Key responsibilities include performing routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and responding to emergency repair requests. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
