Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The primary responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment, particularly focusing on 480V systems and Allen Bradley PLC controls. The role is predominantly reactive, with 80% of tasks being reactive maintenance. Effective communication is crucial as the maintenance lead will distribute work orders for reactive maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair 480V systems and large 700+ horsepower motors.
• Handle electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Work with Allen Bradley PLC controls and HMI integrated machinery for simplified troubleshooting.
• Perform maintenance on various equipment including twin screw extruder lines, pneumatics and hydraulics, hydraulic presses, molding machines, plastic processing equipment, hoppers, Yaskawa robot, push/pull conveyor lines, thermocouples, safety relays, load cells, and plastic heaters.
• Respond to CMMS work orders for reactive maintenance needs.
• Communicate effectively with the maintenance lead to ensure proper distribution of reactive maintenance tasks.

Essential Skills

• Experience with 480V troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret basic PLC ladder logic.
• Proficiency in motor controls, including low-level electrical 120v systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Welding and fabrication skills (stick, MIG, and/or TIG).
• Pipefitting experience.
• Motor alignment and calibration skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $70720.00/yr.
