      Industrial Maintenance Technician

      Job Description

      We are seeking a highly skilledMaintenance Technicianto join our team at a leadingconcrete manufacturing companyinTampa, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing bothmechanicalandelectrical systemswithin our facility.       As aMaintenance Technician, you'll work closely with the engineering and maintenance teams to ensure thereliabilityandefficiencyof all equipment. Your duties will include diagnosing faults, performingpreventive maintenance, and providingtechnical supportto junior technicians.

      Responsibilities

      • Install, maintain, and repair mechanical components such as gears, conveyors, and bearings, including EOT Cranes.
      • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, switches, control panels, and PLCs.
      • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability of both mechanical and electrical systems.
      • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams for the installation and modification of equipment.
      • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
      • Diagnose and repair electrical faults and malfunctions in machinery.
      • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
      • Work with hand and power tools to dismantle, assemble, and test machinery and equipment.
      • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations in both mechanical and electrical work.
      • Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and apprentices.
      • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, compressors, and pumps.
      • Demonstrate good housekeeping practices to maintain a safe work area.
      • Clearly communicate completed tasks through daily logs (verbal, written, or computerized).
      • Complete assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner.
      • Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.

      Work Environment and Shift

      Large, outdoor concrete manufacturing facility with numerous buildings.

      Work involves plant maintenance and heavy equipment throughout the plant, including forklifts, travel lifts, mixer trucks, and vans.

      Monday - Friday

      6AM - 3:30PM Must be open to additional overtime including working until the job is done and occasional Saturdays when needed due to production needs.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
