      Job Title: Maintenance Technician

      Job Description

      Our client is a food manufacturing company. The facility is responsible for filling, packaging, and distributing these products to various stores and restaurants. The maintenance technician will ensure the smooth operation of packaging lines, which include a variety of machinery and conveyor systems.

      Responsibilities

      • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
      • Troubleshoot and repair packaging machines, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, motors, cylinders, pumps, valves, and flow meters.
      • Handle case packers, case sealers, filler machines, labelers, and palletizers.
      • Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs, including troubleshooting machinery.
      • Work with 3-phase motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, valves, gearboxes, conveyors, flowmeters, VFDs, wiring, PLCs, relays, chillers, and boilers.
      • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
      • Program, edit, and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs.
      • Set up and repair VFDs.
      • Maintain safety circuits.

      Qualifications

      • At least 2-4 years of experience performing maintenance on machinery in a production environment.

      Work Environment

      The position is located in a food manufacturing environment that adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The shift available is the 2nd shift, 3rd shift weekend, from 11:00pm to 9:30am, Thursday through Sunday.

      The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85280.00/yr.
