Job Title: Facility and Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Facility and Maintenance Technician is responsible for various general labor tasks, with a particular emphasis on mechanical and electrical skills. However, we are open to training individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily tasks generated by our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance (PM) on industrial machines.
• Clean coolant pans and manage coolant refilling and mixing in bulk storage to the correct concentration.
• Change filters and conduct oil PMs.
• Organize and maintain pallets, and perform scraping tasks.
• Rearrange office rooms as needed.
• Carry out basic facility maintenance tasks, including snaking drains.
• Repair kitchen and bathroom fixtures.
• Replace pneumatic lines and repair/replace ductwork.
• Conduct basic electrical repairs.

Essential Skills

• Entry-level candidate with trade school education OR 3-5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance position.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues with production equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as changing oil, fluids, and making machine adjustments.
• Experience with troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, building repair, and building maintenance.
• Skills in pneumatics, hydraulics, blueprint reading, electrical work, preventive maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, and 3-phase systems.
• Knowledge of motors, electrical maintenance, coolant change, filter change, oil change, plumbing, and HVAC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
