- Work directly with the activity directors of each building, coordinate times, communicate needs and resolve conflicts with schedules
- Operation of equipment not limited but including tractors, paint robot, floor scrubber, etc.
- Clear, salt and ensure all sidewalks are safe for public use on event days.
- Monitor all public restrooms, front foyer of gym and garbages during the event, clean these areas plus the officials locker room and locker rooms used by the teams and empty all garbages after each event
- Schedule and control heating of the building including activating override when needed.
- Ensure lights are turned on and off for events.
- Follow all district and school rules and guidelines for safety and successful participation. Ensure a safe and clean playing environment and spectator area.
- Report and help-desk damaged items or items in need of repair.
- Effectively communicate cleaning and maintenance schedules with coaches and directors and be aware of alternate practice schedules that may require additional cleanings.
- Fulfill all help-desk orders for activity set up, being present at the event to monitor facilities and or help with the event and the tear down/clean up of the facility and surround area after the event.
- Keep the building secure by unlocking doors at the appropriate time and locking and ensuring the doors are locked and shut after the event.

- Persons performing service in this position classification will exert 75 to 100 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Must have an adequate range of motion in the upper extremities
- This type of work may involve ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps, and will involve walking or standing for extended periods, the use of scissor lifts and other personal lift up to and excess of 40 feet
- Perceiving the nature of sound, near and far vision, depth perception, providing oral information, manual dexterity to operate equipment and use hand tools, and handle and work with various materials and objects are important aspects of this job
- Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions caused by weather may occasionally be experienced.
Position is open until filled
210 days a year, 8 hours per day
