- UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
- Performs all procedures relevant to breast imaging.
- A comprehensive approach to breast health is utilized in accordance with departmental policy at the three sites of service.
- These include the Breast Care Center, off-site screening mammography service, and the mobile mammography van.
- Participates in required technical and program continuous quality improvement activities anddemonstrates exceptional patient service skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiology program
- Currently ARRT – R and Texas Department of Health Registered
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire within 30 days
- One year as a Radiologic technologist
- One year as a mammography technologist
- Preferred mobile mammography experience
- Certified in Mammography, ARRT – M registered preferred
