Please submit your resume and a cover letter.Position Purpose:The pharmacy intern will learn both clinical and business skills that will prepare them for a career in managed care pharmacy. They will primarily work with pharmacists at the health plan to analyze pharmacy trends and support clinical and operational initiatives. Some examples of experiences include reviewing a new drug and making benefit design recommendations, supporting initiatives to improve appropriate medication use and pharmacy quality. Learn about various processes and functions within the Managed Care industry and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business.Duties:Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent undergraduate coursework completed. Must be enrolled in a graduate Pharmacy program at an accredited university or college in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.Pay Range: $21-30/hourCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including competitive pay, health insurance, 401(k) and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field, or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law , including full-time or part-time status .
