At Live Nation, we’re passionate about transforming live events and creating extraordinary moments for artists, event professionals, and fans.

      Role Objective:

We’re looking for a sharp and dependable Management Accountant to join our NZ Venues finance team, supporting the day-to-day financial operations of Spark Arena, Tuning Fork, San Fran, and the upcoming Waikato Regional Theatre.

Based in either Auckland or Hamilton, you’ll report to the Finance Manager and work closely with venue managers and the wider finance team to handle settlements, reporting, payroll, tax compliance, and forecasting. If you're a confident numbers person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves live events, apply now with your CV and a brief cover letter.

      What you’ll be doing:

      • Preparing Event Settlements : Coordinate and reconcile settlements across arena, theatre, and club shows—managing ticket sales, costs, promoter payments, and journal entries.
      • Managing Payroll & Compliance : Process and verify casual payroll, timesheets, and staff onboarding while preparing and lodging PAYE, GST, FBT, and other tax returns.
      • Tracking Invoicing & Revenue : Oversee AP/AR invoice reviews, manage receivables, and reconcile ticketing income from platforms like Ticketmaster.
      • Supporting Financial Reporting : Deliver accurate month-end reporting, flash updates, metrics, and financial summaries in collaboration with the Finance Business Partner.
      • Maintaining Finance Systems : Keep financial data accurate in Elite and assist the team with training and troubleshooting as needed.
      • Budgeting & Forecasting : Support budget creation and ongoing forecasting for all venues.
      • Contributing to Team Projects : Assist with internal and external audits, improve finance processes, and handle ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

      What you’ll bring:

      • Detail-Oriented & Reliable: You bring accuracy and consistency to everything you do—especially under time pressure.
      • Finance-Savvy & Evolving: You're working toward a CAANZ or CPA qualification and want to grow within a collaborative, high-performing team.
      • Tech-Confident & Curious : You're proficient with Excel and financial systems and ready to learn our platforms inside and out.
      • Organised & Deadline-Driven : You manage competing priorities with confidence and always deliver high-quality work on time.
      • Clear Communicator & Team Player : You translate finance into plain English and collaborate confidently with non-finance teams, valuing input to deliver strong, shared outcomes.
      • Proactive Problem Solver : You spot issues early and come with solutions, not just problems.
      • Passionate About Live Events : You’re excited by the energy of live music and entertainment—and want to play a behind-the-scenes role in making it all happen.

      The Benefits:

      • A vibrant, music-focused workplace fostering creativity and collaboration.
      • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
      • Access to concerts, events, and other entertainment perks.
      • A diverse, equitable workplace where every voice matters.
      • Comprehensive benefits, from volunteer days to wellness programs and mental health support.
