- A minimum of a Master’s degree and three (3) years of professional experience or a Bachelor’s degree and eight (8) years of professional experience with at least two (2) years of experience relevant to international development.
- Experience consulting and/or providing superior customer service related to complex international development matters, including analytical, advisory, and training support preferred
- Expertise in one or more technical areas relevant to development assistance, such as (but not limited to) program design, monitoring and evaluation, health or education, etc., consistent with the USAID’s strategic priorities and programming preferre
- Demonstrated interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and excellent written and oral communication abilities
- Strong preference to candidates that have spent meaningful time working in a developing country who understand such environments
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as a member of a team
- Superior organization skills and experience managing multiple tasks at once

Position Description
The Management and Program Analyst will support the Office of South and Central Asia (SCA) in USAID’s Asia Bureau, with a focus on providing programmatic and administrative support to the Country Desk Officer(s) and also providing critical technical support to relevant missions in the region. The position reports to the Asia Bureau SCA Office Director or their designee.

Responsibilities
• Support Bureau and Agency planning, implementation, data analysis, monitoring and evaluation of USAID programming, budget allocations, and strategic priorities • Analyze available resources and develop allocation recommendations for Agency leadership to optimize outcomes • Support efforts to strengthen and expand USAID’s programming, including contributing to the development of programmatic guidance, tools and resources, and the design of new and innovative programs, including providing backstop and field support as needed. • Identify, analyze, update, develop, organize, and review the following tasks:
• Project/program tracking, data analysis and documentation
• Budget and field support tracking • Program and document preparation and presentations. • Policy and Strategic development documents and briefings.
• Leads coordination with relevant inter-agency and governmental parties, as well as other stakeholders in tasks related to communication, develops briefings, internal presentations, meeting agendas, memorandums, etc.• Other duties as assigned
