PwC Consulting is growing, and we are now looking for junior colleagues to join our Consulting & Strategy teams in August of 2024 .
Job Description
As a junior management consultant, you will, based on interest and background, join one of our core functional teams (described in the next segment of the ad) and develop skills and networks within that area. When starting as a consultant within PwC you will also join our "Foundation of the Future" (FoF) program, where you will be provided the tools and essential consulting skills needed to succeed. You will continuously receive feedback, assistance and coaching from experienced colleagues, which will help you develop both professionally and personally.
Most of your time will be spent on different client engagements, where your tasks will vary due to the nature of the project and the organisation’s specific needs. Tasks such as analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, facilitating workshops, conducting interviews and preparing presentation materials, and reporting on projects are all examples of responsibilities that may be assigned to you. You will also be involved in internal tasks, such as employer branding and business development.

Finance Transformation
Finance transformation involves restructuring and reimagining the finance function (ekonomiavdelningen) to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and value to the business. This includes optimising processes, implementing new technologies like ERP systems, upskilling, redefining roles, and improving collaboration with other departments. The goal is to enable the CFO organisation to better support strategic business objectives by enhancing financial reporting, forecasting accuracy, risk management, and providing valuable insights for decision-making. People & Organisation
The P&O team helps companies optimize performance and achieve strategic goals by managing workforce, culture, and organisational structure. They develop talent strategies, improve design and effectiveness, implement change initiatives, and facilitate leadership development. Additionally, they enhance employee engagement, conduct assessments, implement rewards programs, promote diversity and inclusion, and address employee relations issues. Operations
The Operations team in Consulting & Strategy specializes in enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing supply chain, procurement, and logistics processes to increase profitability and competitiveness for companies. They streamline processes, reduce costs, improve quality control, optimize inventory management, and implement new technologies. Key areas of expertise include supply chain management, logistics, manufacturing, and procurement. They also assist clients with process improvement initiatives like Lean, Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management.Cyber & Cloud
The Cyber & Cloud team assists organisations by helping them to secure their operations and digital infrastructure to ensure customer trust and business continuity. They support clients in consulting projects aimed at evaluating and enhancing effectiveness and quality within the realm of cybersecurity and cloud solutions. They specialise in key areas of expertise, utilising cloud technologies to assist clients in achieving optimised digital operations. Furthermore, they offer guidance in grasping the ever-evolving landscape of digital threats, by embracing the interplay between technology and business expansion.
M&A Integration & carve-out
Do you want to work in the intersection of Corporate Finance and Management Consulting, guiding businesses through Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to deliver the full value of a deal? PwC’s M&A integration and carve-out team advise and support clients (a combination of Private Equities and corporates) throughout the transaction cycle as they plan, prepare and implement M&A related activities. Our main tasks include: driving integration- and separation projects, due diligence, synergy assessments and supporting IPO processes. Our projects are often international, and you will get the opportunity to work in teams with experienced M&A advisors, industry experts and in close collaboration with client’s management teams.

What kind of people are we looking for?
We are looking for high performing individuals with preferably at least one masters degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Human Resource Management, Data or Computer Science, Marketing or equivalent. You have recently graduated or will be graduating during 2023/2024. Your grades are excellent, and we gladly see that you are proficient in both Swedish and English.
You are a problem solver that is motivated by challenges and ambitious goals. You have a business mindset and are good at planning and managing projects. You are motivated by working with varying tasks and industries, and you adapt to new situations and circumstances with ease. Other qualities we value are initiative, communicative, creativity and business thinking. We would like you to grow and develop together with PwC.
We are also looking for team players with great ability to collaborate and communicate with colleagues and clients. Lastly, we believe that you are self-directed, independent, and proactive. You contribute to the team and the firm by taking your own initiatives.

Your application can be written in either Swedish or English. Submit your application as soon as possible, though no later than Sunday the 8th of October 2023. We will hold assessment days at the PwC Office in Stockholm on the 7th and 8th of November. If you get a spot on the assessment days we expect you to be physically available. PwC will pay for a round ticket by train. If you are currently on exchange studies there can be accommodation for a digital setup.
