What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Underwrite and manage a portfolio of management liability risks for private and non-profit businesses
- Assess and analyze risk information to make informed underwriting decisions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Pursue new business opportunities to expand the employer’s portfolio
- Collaborate with claims and legal teams to ensure effective claims handling and policy interpretation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of experience in the Underwriting or Market Facing area, or equivalent experience in Claims or Underwriting Support
- Knowledge of line/s of business and legal and regulatory guidelines
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Experience working on time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Strong negotiation skills and broker relationships
