Responsibilities :
> Ensures the availability of expandable and returnable packaging material for production, customer, or supplier
> Manages on the returnable (empties) accounts in collaboration with customer, supplier, and internal departments
> Supervising the external service provider for handling, storage and washing of packaging and ensures best cost and timely procurement of needed expendable and returnable packaging
> Monitors the performance of the forwarders and service providers
> Monitor and analyze transport related incoming invoices. In case of non-conformities perform an alignment with the forwarders and service providers
> Procurement, replacement and scrapping of returnable and expendable packaging under consideration of best costs and budgets
> Contributing to the optimization of incoming, outgoing goods and transportation processes
Job requirements:
> Carrier specific tool knowledge
> Knowledge of locally applicable specific transportation related regulations and processes (local customs regulations, road weight regulations, infrastructure)
> Negotiation and structural problem-solving skills
> Experience with SAP modules and MS tools
