Key Role Details

• Full-time new hires for this role will start as a cohort in a rotational program in July 2024.

• This role is a full-time associate position within a two-year rotational program, designed as a career accelerator to foster the next generation of leading talent.

• All associates will rotate roles within their assigned location. Rotations occur at the one-year mark and allow for hands-on experience in two distinct roles.

• Associates who participate in this program may choose to remain in their final role placement upon completion of the program or explore other opportunities at Capital One.

• Participation in the program requires that you are located in the continental United States with in-person attendance at your assigned location, in accordance with Capital One’s hybrid working model .

Basic Qualifications

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelors or higher with an expectation that degree will be obtained by July 2024 or earlier.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelors or higher in business, engineering, accounting, supply chain management, economics, marketing or information systems

Management Rotation Program Associate - 2024

Capital One’s two-year Management Rotation Program (MRP) provides associates with the foundational knowledge needed to deliver complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive the company forward. Associates gain exposure to professional areas within the company – risk management, audit, supplier management, process management and project management. Throughout your experience in the program, you’ll rely heavily on the leadership skills you’ve developed during your college experience. You’ll lead cross-functional teams to ensure our systems and associates are successful in delivering value to the organization. Participants should be adaptable, eager to learn, and comfortable taking on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities may include:

• Building a positive and motivating team environment

• Demonstrating strong and open communication and leadership skills with team members and outside business partners

• Communicating and facilitating effectively across diverse audiences

• Managing and leading multiple complex efforts / projects concurrently in an autonomous environment

• Interact and develop relationships with management across Capital One’s lines of businesses including Card, Risk Management, Financial Services, Technology, Supplier Management, External Affairs, and many other lines on business

• Driving the team to focus on critical deliverables, and executing with high attention to detail

• Facilitating daily team meetings and keeping information about the team's progress up-to-date, accurate, appropriately detailed, and visible to all parties

• Identifying, removing or elevating obstacles, ensuring a quick resolution for the team

• Implementing necessary communications and change activities associated with product launches, technology changes, and process improvements

• Identifying and finding resources needed to achieve team goals

• Using information and interactions to make good judgment on potential risks and issues

An ideal candidate would possess:

• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills

• Demonstration of complex leadership and advanced communication skills
