      Position:

      The Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru is looking for Management Trainee in Rooms Division.

      Candidates with passion for excellence, interested to pursue career in hospitality industry are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons. As a Management Trainee, you will undergo a 12-18 months training in all aspects of Rooms Division. The first 12 months will be your divisional training and the last six months will be your specialized training in one of the areas of choosing. You will get training and first hand experience in -

      The Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru is looking for a Hotel Assistant Manager. Candidates with passion for excellence, expertise in hospitality operations and proven leadership experience are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons.

      The Hotel Assistant Manager will oversee the Front Desk operations and act as manager on duty in the hotel when senior managers are not available.

      You will direct staff that performs the following duties and will also perform these duties on your own: welcome and registers hotel guests, explaining the accommodations and establishing credit or method of payment. Check guest out of the hotel, preparing and explaining the bill. Respond to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.

      You will assure that all financial and credit procedures are followed. Follow up on credit problems with Front Office Manager and/or Credit Manager. Review all paid-outs, rebates, Petty Cash disbursements and Direct Billings. Check cashiers’ work at end of shift to ensure all transactions are reconciled with proper approvals and endorsements.

      You will take action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well being of hotel guests and employees when senior managers are not available.

      You will resolve customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.

      You will check guest in and out in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible. Assure that guest is assigned type of room requested and the correct rate is charged. Arrange for luggage to be delivered to guest room. Issue correct keys to the guest. Checks out guest at end of stay. Ascertain guest satisfaction, collect keys, post late charges and present bill to guest. Settle bill accurately through credit card or cash transaction.

      Requirements

      Must have previously worked in a similar capacity in a Five Star Hotel at least 2 years.

      College education preferred

      Excellent reading, writing & oral proficiency in the English language

      Proven interpersonal skills with a track record of successful guest interactions and handling guest complaints.

      Excellent organizational skills, Attention to detail, Ability to multitask, Ability to negotiate, organize, delegate & work under pressure is required.
