Job Description

Perform monthly income statement and balance sheet reviews.
Make recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves.
Develop, mentor, and train a team of accountants.
Work with key members of the business unit to understand significant fluctuations in trends and key drivers of business results
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting which is inclusive of ensuring that all activities are done in compliance with our internal control framework
Partner with the FP&A team to align internal management reporting packages
Work with the corporate consolidation team to provide assistance with company reporting and be able to answer questions related to business performance from this group.
Support various aspects of our annual audit including but not limited to interim testing, year-end testing, and managing audit requests.
Active CPA License
5+ years of accounting experience
Leadership experience with the ability to lead, manage, and grow a high-performing team
Experience in retail, eCommerce, manufacturing, or distribution industries
Experience working with enterprise-level ERP systems like JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP, etc.
In-depth knowledge of US GAAP
A self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple tasks/responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to build strong working relationships to effectively navigate across the organization
Associate or Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a focus on Accounting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with JD Edwards and RetailPro not required, but a strong advantage
- Motorcycle ownership/riding experience

Job Description
The Accounting & Finance Department at Comoto consists of highly motivated people who are encouraged to bring their skills and initiatives to the table. They drive efficiency and change to improve internal systems and processes through skills, development, and collaboration. We operate in a fast-paced, changing environment.
This role will be part of the Accounting team and will report directly to the Assistant Controller. The Manager, Accounting is responsible for leading a team of 4 and supporting the monthly close process and consolidation. Our next Manager, Accounting will have a proactive orientation and ability to manage and motivate the team through an evolving environment. Clear communication skills, documentation skills, accuracy, and attention to detail are key requirements.
