      $87,500.00 - $97,500.00

      Plus Incentive Bonus based on Performance

      Our Manager, Accounts Payable is not only a rock star accountant, but also a leader and developer of teams. They will oversee all AP processes for the Alamo Drafthouse family of businesses, ensuring the team is aligned, organized, accurate, and hitting their deadlines while having a ton of fun! They are willing to drive the AP team to success, empower the team, and are always willing to help the team grow/learn something new within the AP process. Above all, they’ll make sure our external partners get paid on time and love doing business with the Alamo Drafthouse.

      They will collaborate with the SVP of Accounting to analyze and improve systems, always keeping an eye out for ways to increase efficiency. They will be a ey component of our accounting team, bridging the gap between leadership’s vision for the department and the execution of our teams on the ground. They are ready to own and deliver messaging, methodology, process updates, and any other advancements for the department to their teams with enthusiasm and support.

      CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Uphold standards of behavior as defined by the company's Core Values, Code of Conduct, and Operational Guidelines

      • Lead and coordinate the Accounts Payable team

      • Oversee the AP Team’s accurate, timely prioritization and processing of all payables every week for Alamo’s corporate office and 25+ venue locations

      • Provide exceptional internal customer service; delegating, responding to, and/or supporting any teammate with AP needs/concerns

      • Manage AP vendor relationships

      • Analyze and consult on workflow processes for the AP function

      • Develop and provide ad hoc reporting for AP

      • Support monthly close procedures as requested/applicable

      • Expense reimbursement processing

      • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, following company policy and accepted accounting principles

      • 1099 vendor maintenance and annual reporting

      • Supervise credit applications and new vendor setup, including Fintech setup for alcohol vendors

      • Maintain company procurement/credit card system, card coding, and access as well as company reimbursement requests

      • Maintain company travel booking system and related access and approvals

      • Ensure reconciliation of AP Aging, AP GL to register detail, and customer accounts.

      • Review expenses for Capex/Prepaid opportunities during monthly close

      • Enter AP Accruals for monthly close

      • Ensure food and beverage bill accuracy and completeness by comparing bills across systems.

      • Maintain Uber Business and Amazon Business account access

      • Supervision of weekly AP film rental payment process for accuracy and timeliness

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

      • 5+ years experience in AP, multi-entity company experience a plus

      • 3+ years experience in proven team leadership leading a team of 3+

      • Competency with standard accounting software

      • Expert-level Excel architect

      • Can navigate a GL with their eyes closed

      • Great communicator, written and verbal

      • Cool under pressure - able to organize a collaborative work environment for the AP team to balance the workload

      • Proven experience with improving processes and implementing automated solutions

      • Experience with the following software is valuable: Netsuite, Divvy/Bill.com, Stampli, and Excel
