Position Summary: Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Manager, Business Analytics to Design applications to support the development of analytical insights to inform and guide business decisions. Duties include: design the healthcare-related applications that assist with requirement gathering, database design, development, unit testing, performance testing and QA testing support activities; develop, validate, and executes algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns, and recommend solutions, determining analytical approaches and modeling techniques to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomes; implement automation of manual processes for both new and legacy systems; design, extract, and develop ETL workflows and datasets using various technologies and reporting tools; develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data that helps generate insights and addresses business reporting needs; develop applications using the python and its core libraries; design the complex reports using ORACLE SQL or similar server databases; and liaise with outside IT consultants and other third party contractors to ensure business requests completed on time. - Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Position requires five (5) years of experience with each of the following: Oracle PL/SQL; Database design, application development, maintenance and support for retail or healthcare industry; Unix or Shell scripting; Software development lifecycle (SDCL) including analysis, requirements, coding and unit testing, integration and systems testing; Writing application code and deploying to production; Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes; and Data analytics on large data sets in healthcare, business, or retail sector.
Pay Range: $151195.00/year to $127350.00/year.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
