Programs range from primary care to acute care, and includes laboratories, pharmaceuticals and diagnostics. Additional programs that also support patient care and information include Virtual Care, the MySaskHealthRecord, and the Provincial Electronic Health Record. eHealth is also responsible for the administration of various pieces of legislation to manage the registration of/changes to all vital event records (e.g. birth, marriage, death, etc.), registration of legal name changes, registration of adoptions, and for maintaining the provincial health registry for health services eligibility and distribution of health services cards.
The eHealth teams engage directly with health system partners and other stakeholders both provincially and federally to ensure all services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence Services, the Manager of Business Intelligence Services is responsible for the strategic leadership and management of a team leading business intelligence infrastructure and business improvement projects supporting improved patient outcomes and health system management.This role is responsible for leading, developing, and planning with a team of highly talented individuals that support the organizations data and analytics strategy. Daily responsibilities in this position will include solving problems, leading the team, project oversight, planning future enhancements, vendor management, financial forecasting, building reporting/decision items for senior leadership, and building and maintaining partner relationships.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to oversee strategic projects and support a team developing project plans, roadmaps and delivering on projects in collaboration with eHealth and its partners.

• Project management experience and training or certification.
• Knowledge of public sector budgeting, forecasting, accountability, and decision-making processes.
• Understanding of how to advance the strategic and corporate work of the organization and the goals of government overall.
• Change agent with a proven track record in leading dynamic and diverse teams through provincial wide changes and times of uncertainty.
• Ability to navigate and build strong relationships in a large, complex, multi-enterprise environment.
• Extensive senior leadership experience that enables you to lead, direct and manage a team of professionals.
• Ability to think critically and view issues and challenges from multiple perspectives.
• Reputation for integrity and a focus on service excellence.Experience & Qualifications:
• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, other related equivalent, or related professional designation and certifications from an accredited institution.
• Have 2-5 years of progressive leadership experience in a same or similar scope.
• Strong project management skills which includes experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors.
• Experience with training, supervising, and managing staff.
• Experience with business intelligence tools, SaaS business platforms and technology renewal strategies.
