Manage a portfolio of projects in Financial Planning and/or Financial Planning and Analysis, including Management Reporting and Decision Analysis/Support
Serve as subject matter expert for financial system structure and processes, corporate financial policies, and decision targets/criteria related to supported functional area
Coordinate budgets and forecasts for supported functional area(s), ensuring that targets and projections align with operational plans and objectives
Manage quantification and evaluation of financial impact of proposed business cases, working in collaboration with functional leaders to ensure reasonable projected returns and supporting decision-making in accordance with corporate guidelines
Oversee analysis and reporting of key financial metrics with functional management, including trends and analysis of variances vs. objectives and goals. Ensure that reporting is understood and is relevant and timely to support decisions
Deploy and enhance data structure to support effective and accurate financial data supporting business drivers and aligning with defined accountabilities of supported function
Administer an effective internal control program within supported function, ensuring adequate controls over assets and ensuring financial and accounting integrity
Liaise with technical accounting team to ensure that supported function complies with corporate guidelines for financial management and enact processes to ensure data accuracy and timeliness – including but not limited to accruals, allocations, and financial measures driven by supported functional area.
Lead, mentor, and coach direct reports.
Perform other duties as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other analytical degree with equivalent work experience
Experience in people management experience.
Experience in progressive finance-related experience (financial planning (budget/forecast), financial analysis, management reporting, decision analysis).
Proven experience and knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Management Reporting, Cost Accounting, and/or related experiences
Strong initiative, ability to lead and work in pressure situations.
MBA and/or CPA.
Automotive industry experience.

Toyota’s Business Unit Finance Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Manager.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support Research & Development (R&D) management to achieve their financial and operational goals by leading the Accounting & Finance activities in the R&D division.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, R&D Business Unit Finance, the person in this role will develop, implement and maintain the financial plans and policies of the organization. They will establish fiscal controls, prepare financial reports, maintain relations with R&D management, advise on financial affairs and assist in long-range planning.
