      About the role

      The Channel Manager will be responsible for developing channel strategies, managing partner relationships, monitoring channel performance, and resolving conflicts. They play a key role in driving sales and ensuring channel success. Effective channel management can optimize distribution networks, ensuring products reach the right markets at the right time. This helps in reducing costs and enhancing overall efficiency. Channel management is vital for companies to establish strong partnerships with distributors, retailers, or online platforms. Effective channel management can increase market share and customer satisfaction.

      Key Responsibilities

      As a (specify role), you’ll be responsible for:

      Developing Channel Strategies

      • Design and implement effective channel strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing ones.
      • Identify and evaluate potential partners to enhance the distribution network.
      • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine channel strategies.

      Managing Partner Relationships

      • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, ensuring mutual growth and success.
      • Negotiate agreements and contracts with partners to align with company objectives.
      • Provide ongoing support and training to partners to enhance their performance.

      Monitoring Channel Performance

      • Track and analyze channel performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
      • Develop and implement performance improvement plans for underperforming partners.
      • Regularly review and report on channel performance to senior management.

      Resolving Conflicts

      • Identify potential conflicts within the channel network and develop strategies to resolve them.
      • Mediate disputes between partners to maintain a harmonious working relationship.
      • Implement conflict resolution training for partners to prevent future issues.

      Requirements

      As a minimum you must have:

      • Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one work area.
      • Has broad knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
      • University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience.
