- Monday- Friday: Typical hours 7:00- 3:30 with occasional late hours or weekends if needed
- This position is based within Jefferson Regional Clinical Engineering Department
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Technical or Associate Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related field required. Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related field preferred.
- Ability to work under high stress situations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team, including Physicians, Nurses and other Clinical Engineering staff.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- 5+ years’ experience in Clinical Engineering or Bio-medical equipment preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in Electronic Engineering preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience with PC-based word processors and spreadsheets preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in data entry preferred
