- Job Summary
- The Epic Training Manager will manage, oversee, develop, and facilitate the Epic Training program at Children’s of Alabama. This position will manage and implement all aspects of the Epic education program, including strategic and tactical planning, organizing, staffing, and leading of Epic Training, including oversight of the Training Coordinator role, Principal Trainers, and operational educators who are credentialed to teach Epic. They will collaborate closely with leaders and managers to continue to develop and deploy Epic Training to new end users. This role will maintain a successful ongoing Epic Training program including instructional design, methodology, effective delivery of training, and Epic Quarterly Upgrade communications. This role will work closely with all levels of leadership, subject matter experts, and operational stakeholders to validate effective and efficient training plans and to ensure the departments are well-supported.

- Education
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Preferred: Master's Degree in healthcare, education or adult learning

- Experience
- At least five years of experience working in adult learning/education/training delivery
- At least two years of experience in a healthcare setting
- At least two years of previous management/leadership/project management experience
- Previous work with an LMS and eLearning software preferred
- At least one Epic implementation preferred

- Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
- EPIC certification within 6 months of hire, if applicable
