- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of content designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Hiring & Talent Development: Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent in content design. Develop onboarding programs and training initiatives to ensure team members are well-trained to excel in their roles.
- Process Improvement & Innovation: Establish and refine content design processes, tools, and standards to enhance efficiency and quality, including oversight of the Content Style Guide and identifying emerging technologies to drive innovation in content design.
- Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation, curation, and management of high-quality digital content across various platforms, including websites, mobile apps, email, SMS, and other digital channels.
- Healthcare Content Expertise: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in healthcare content creation to ensure compliance and relevance.
- Audience Engagement: Drive audience engagement and brand awareness through compelling and relevant content that educates, informs, and engages our members and prospects.
- Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, communications, product, design, engineering, and other teams to ensure alignment and integration of digital content strategies with broader organizational initiatives.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of digital content initiatives. Continuously optimize strategies based on data insights and market feedback.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and freelance resources as needed to support content creation and distribution efforts.

- Knowledge in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) beneficial

Position Purpose: The Manager of Content Design will lead and mentor a team of content designers, overseeing the execution of content initiatives that align with business goals and deliver exceptional user experiences. This role is focused on guiding the team in the creation, design, and maintenance of digital content while ensuring it meets technical and business requirements. You will foster a collaborative and supportive environment, providing direction and feedback to ensure content quality, consistency, and efficiency across web, mobile, email, SMS, and other digital platforms for high-visibility initiatives.
You will also be responsible for the career development and growth of your team, helping individuals reach their full potential through coaching, mentorship, and tailored development opportunities. By working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure content efforts align with broader organizational objectives while empowering your team to excel in their craft.
Responsibilities:
Education/Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
2+ years leadership role preferred.
Technical Skills:One or more of the following skills are desired.
