Job Description
- Req#: 98155BR
- Responsibility for the credit assessment of new customers
- Monitoring counterparty and country risk (KYC)
- Reviewing and updating existing credit limits
- Interface with commercial managers on credit limit and payment terms and communicate decisions in a timely manner
- Partnering with the business – find solutions to support company strategies
- Obtaining and evaluating/analyzing customer information, balance sheets, and securities
- Documenting/Maintaining records of the steps taken in the GetPaid credit system
- Accountability for documentary business
- Follow-up on payment plans and bad debts
- Cooperation with legal on insolvency cases
- Covering of reporting obligations
- Acting as point of contact for internal and external partners on credit related questions
- Apprenticeship or degree in Controlling, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience as a Credit Manager in international companies, preferably in food production or commodity trade ( e.g. fuel, coal).
- Proficient in balance-sheet reconciliation and solution development.
- Certification as ‘Certified Credit Manager’ or ‘Certified Credit Controller’ is an advantage
- Fluent in English and good German (B2+); additional languages (e.g., Turkish) are a plus.
- Precise, structured, and autonomous working style.
- Excellent communication and teamwork
