      • Working on the Crew Scheduling Team within the Integrated Operations Division.
      • Collaborating and Managing the Vendor who supports the Hotel and Transportation needs for our Crew members within the operation on a real-time, 24/7 basis.

      What you'll do

      • Oversees the day-to-day Hotel/Limo operation for both Pilots and Flight Attendants for all American Airlines flights.
      • Manage day of extra room “Hard block” Hotel requests and usage tracking
      • Monitor all SLAs and work with Procurement on contractual accountability.
      • Identify and implement methods to increase/improve performance.
      • Develop and enhance the working relationship with Vendors
      • Ensure all internal audit requirements are followed and accountable for compliance.
      • Review staffing requirements and schedules with Vendor to ensure adjustments are made as needed.
      • Responsible for managing a multi-million-dollar crew hotel budget and partnering with the IOC team and our vendor to improve data, processes, implement new technology and help us improve efficiencies in this area.
      • Address all crew grievances and work with Compliance, Labor, and Crew Comp
      • Coordinates extensively with the Scheduling team, Flight, Flight Service, Dispatch, Crew Planning and Crew Resources in the operation of the airline.
      • Make analytically sound decisions in a fast-paced changing environment.
      • Motivates team to develop continuous improvement processes and better internal customer experience.
      • Ability to work rotating shifts, including some weekends.

      All you'll need for success

      Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/training
      • 5 years management experience
      • Previous experience working with organized labor groups preferred.
      • Knowledge of company policies and procedures and functional automation applications

      Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

      • Consensus building and negotiating skills.
      • Project coordination and/ or management skills
      • Experience in data analysis and change management.
      • Aviation industry knowledge

      Skills, Licenses & Certifications

      • Intermediate skill level required in all Microsoft Office applications as well as Sabre.
      • In-depth knowledge of the regulatory rules affecting crew schedules, including a working knowledge of the APA and APFA collective bargaining agreements a plus.
      • Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet critical contractual deadlines.
      • Ability to work under pressure, perform independently and work well with other members of the team.
      • Critical thinking ability - using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
      • Demonstrated abstract reasoning and critical thinking skills, ability to effectively analyze detailed information, must enjoy solving complex puzzles.
      • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
