We currently have a full-time opportunity for an Manager, Cybersecurity - Governance, Risk and Compliance. This role can be based out of one our main offices including: Stellarton, NS; Dartmouth, NS; Mississauga, ON; Quebec, QC; Vancouver, BC; Alberta, AB; .
Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
As a Manager, Cybersecurity - Governance, Risk and Compliance with Sobeys, you will:
• Oversee and drive strategic security initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental heads.
• Continuously enhance and execute on Cyber Security roadmap. Defining projects’ scope, priorities, goals and tracking progress on milestones and service deliverables, dependencies and, managing problems early to ensure successful execution.
• Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
• Evaluate, design, execute and monitor improvements to organizational structure, information technology and security systems.
• Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance to achieve program goals.
• Implementation and management of the risk management program, policies and standards and overall Governance Risk and Compliance Programs.
• Design and implementation of cybersecurity metrics .
• Provide leadership and work in partnership with the security team to understand policies, assess cybersecurity risk, establish strategic direction and provide direction.
• Act as an advisory role and provide direct consultation to the Director, Security Architecture & GRC as well as the VP, IT Shared Services and CISO.
• Partner with operations, business owners to identify security exposures, knowledge gaps, skills gaps and develop mitigation plans to address them.What you have to offer:
Your experience and resume will show us:
• Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in complex IT environments.
• Security Strategy development experience preferred.
• CISA, CISSP, CISM, CCSP or similar industry certification preferred.
• CCSP – Certified Cloud Security Professional.
• CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security.
• CISA – Certified Information Systems Auditor.
• CISM – Certified Information Security Manager.
• CRISC – Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control.
• Experience in complex IT environments.
• PMP Certification desired.
